Spray tans are currently limited to MOBILE ONLY. This means I will travel on site to you for the service. A minimum of 4 people is required. Please email starrsesthetics@gmail.com (or fill out the contact form on this website) to inquire for your custom mobile tans!

The best time to schedule a spray tan is two days before an event. This ensures that the tan has fully developed and your color will look nice and fresh. Make sure all other beauty services are completed before the day of your tan.

Shower, shave, and exfoliate the night before your appointment.

Exfoliating your skin is absolutely necessary, and not a gentle method! Using an exfoliating mitt is the best way to ensure skin cells are sloughed away properly. You can purchase a mitt from us!

You must wear a long sleeve loose shirt, long loose pants, and no bra to your appointment. Please wear thong flip flops, no shoes that cover your feet.

Disposable bandeau bras, thongs, and pasties are available to use, but you may also wear your own garments.

Do NOT wear any deodorant, lotions, perfumes, makeup, or oils on your skin the day of your appointment. These should all be washed off in the shower the night before. Do NOT shower/shave/exfoliate the day of your tan. Do NOT wear tight fitting clothing, tank tops, or shorts. Do NOT sleep in your tan.

You will be instructed to rinse at a certain time depending on how deep you want the tan to develop. This is anywhere from 2-5 hours, so please do not plan any appointments or errands during this time. Rinse your body under lukewarm water until all of the bronzer is off of your skin (this can take 5-10 minutes). DO NOT USE SOAP. Do not apply deodorant, lotion, or perfumes after rinsing.

You need to wait 24 hours after you have been sprayed until you can take a shower with soap and wash your hair with soap. Soap can affect the way your tan develops, so please do not use soap during your "rinse." After the "24 Hour Shower" you can resume things as normal with deodorant, lotions, perfumes, etc.

After your "24 Hour Shower", use lotion daily to keep your skin moisturized. To prolong your tan, avoid exfoliating including scrubs, mitts, and loofahs when showering. Avoid sweating as much as possible. Tight clothing will cause friction which can rub your tan off faster. Avoid prolonged time in pools.
